The problem isn't that technology is hard
The problem is that the help disappeared. There used to be a shop to walk into, a colleague to ask, a number to call where somebody actually picked up. Today you're pointed at a search engine, a forum, or a chat box that asks you to describe your problem in thirty characters.
For people comfortable with technology, that's an annoyance. For everyone else, it's a closed door. And it's rarely because the problem is difficult - it's because nobody is there to say which button to press.
What we believe
- An ordinary phone call is still the simplest interface there is.
- You shouldn't have to install something to get help installing something.
- Nobody calling should ever feel stupid for asking.
- The help should work as well for someone who is 82 as for someone who is 32.
What we're building
IT Butler is tech support you reach by calling an ordinary phone number. An AI assistant answers and helps you step by step, at a calm pace. No app, no home visits.
Since October 2026 we've been open on a small scale, and our first customers pay 29 SEK/month. Read more in We're quietly opening.
What happens next
We'll write here about what we learn along the way - what works, what doesn't, and what we change our minds about. If you'd like to follow along, you can leave your email at the bottom of the page.
