Short and simple

Your rights under GDPR

GDPR is the EU law governing how companies may handle your personal data. It exists to protect you. Here's a short explanation of what it means for us, without the complicated language. For all the details, see our full privacy policy.

What do we know about you?

If you call us: our AI assistant answers. We keep the call as text, notes on your case and when you called. You identify yourself with BankID, and if you want, you can link your phone number so you can skip BankID next time.

If you visit the site: we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, but only if you clicked "Yes, that's fine" in the box shown when you visit. If you say no, or don't answer at all, no analytics cookies are set and no statistics are sent to Google. The site's fonts, however, are always loaded from Google, and Google then sees your IP address.

If you want our newsletter: your email address, and whether the sign-up is for yourself or for a parent or relative.

Good to know about calls

  • What you say is sent to OpenAI, which provides the AI assistant's voice and turns the call into text.
  • We don't keep the audio, only the text.
  • You key in your personal identity number. It goes only to BankID and never to the AI assistant.
  • Never say passwords, card numbers or codes on the call.

Why are we allowed to do that?

The newsletter, measurement on the site and linking your phone number happen only if you said yes, and you can take that back at any time. The phone service is new, and exactly which legal basis applies to it, and how long calls are kept, is being determined with legal counsel. It will be in the full privacy policy as soon as it is settled.

Your four most important rights

  • See - you can always ask us what data we hold about you.
  • Correct - if something's wrong, we'll fix it.
  • Delete - if you don't want to stay with us, we'll delete your data.
  • Stop - unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any email, turn off measurement via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, or email us to remove the link to your phone number.

How do you do it?

Send an email to info@itbutler.se and we'll help you, whichever of the above it concerns. No forms, no hassle.

If you're not satisfied

If you think we've handled your data incorrectly, you can always turn to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), Sweden's data protection supervisory authority: imy.se.
