Short and simple

Your rights under GDPR

GDPR is the EU law governing how companies may handle your personal data. It exists to protect you. Here's a short explanation of what it means for us — without the complicated language. For all the details, see our full privacy policy.

What do we collect about you?

What you type in yourself when you press "Keep me updated": your email address, and whether the sign-up is for yourself or a parent/relative. Nothing more. No name, no personal ID number, no phone number is required for that.

Beyond that we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics — but only if you clicked "Yes, that's fine" in the box shown when you visit. If you say no, or don't answer at all, no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

Why are we allowed to do that?

Only because you said yes — you check a box and then confirm via an email we send. No confirmation, no email from us. You can change your mind at any time. The same goes for measurement: it starts only if you actively say yes, and you can take that back whenever you like.

Your four most important rights

  • See — you can always ask us what data we hold about you.
  • Correct — if something's wrong, we'll fix it.
  • Delete — if you don't want to stay in our records, we'll remove you entirely.
  • Stop — you can unsubscribe whenever you like, directly via the link in any email from us.

How do you do it?

Send an email to info@itbutler.se and we'll help you — whichever of the above it concerns. No forms, no hassle.

If you're not satisfied

If you think we've handled your data incorrectly, you can always turn to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), Sweden's data protection supervisory authority: imy.se.
